Agree with you - my wife's PERM approval got lost in mail and she had to apply for 140 with an electronic copy as DOL will not issue a new approval notice.
Mine, of course is languishing in BEC.
The inefficiency of DOL is really incomparable - they are much worse than USCIS.

using AP with H1B will not affect your h1b status in anyway.

What you are saying is incorrect and not what roseball said at all. If you enter on an AP you will no longer be in H1B status. You will be in parolee status. However, you may continue to work on your H1B. Seriously folks, it's not that hard to understand.

Hey.. Congratulations on the engagement.... the way I see it, there are a couple of options for you.. not entirely from a legal perspective.. just practical solutions.....
a. You can ask your fiance to enter as a student here on F1, if she's willing to pursue her education.. you can easily enrol her in the nearest community college and for a part-time or full-time course....
b. An H1 or an L1 is another option.. but given the current conditions, not sure if you can pull that through.......
c. This is from my own experience... A friend of mine faced the same scenario and, so asked his wife to apply for Canadian PR and then come into the States... That way, she was able to get a job quite easily in Toronto and the whole process took just about 8 months or so...
Hopefully, these suggestions come in handy for you....... All the very best....

This is really now a high time we need to do something, Green card is delayed, we have been patiently waiting, now EAD renewal is also delayed, I applied for AP renewal it is more than 2 and half month and it is delayed.
Why are legal and regular tax payer like us troubled so much ? , they want money take it, but provide efficient service ?
I am really surprised that there is nothing we can do ?

you are dreaming about points 1 and 2 as marked in your post below. democracy is about govt by the people for the people. got nada to do with taxation. Maybe you live near washington dc and are confused with what they write there on the asses of their cars. 2. people who earn a living from your tax dollars are answerable only to constituents... and you my friend are not a constituent until you become a citizen with voting rights.

People who get paid from my tax dollars are answerable to me as much as they are to anyone else. Even when cis is not forcing me to file gc, its still equally answerable to me for my tax dollars to tell me why they are not doing their jobs properly. And for that cis owes us all apology. What's wrong with that?

Your current salary has nothing to do with your Labor Certification. LC is for a future job offer and you are supposed to get that salary only after your I-485 approval. Hence there is nothing to worry about it.
As your current salary is per H1 LCA, you are absolutely ok and there is nothing illegal in your nonimmigrant status as well. There might have been issues during your I-485 adjudicatiion if you were not being paid per your H1 LCA, since that is considered as abuse to your nonimmigrant status.

I filed my I-140 and 485 concurrently using substitue labor by June'07. Still my I-140 is pending. Recently again I filed my Labor with the same company(No change in the compary ). it got approved last week. I am going to apply for new I-140. Can I port the previous PD?

Dastardly means cowardly. What does "dastardly atrocious english" mean in the context of Neha's post ?
Sentences start with capital letters, need to have commas, and there should be proper usage of articles. I can point out atrocious mistakes in every sentence of your post.
